Minimum Required Third Party Hardware and Software
can be installed in many different configurations depending upon your company’s requirements. From installing on a single server to those requiring multiple redundant load-balanced servers, is designed with the utmost in flexibility.
Below are the minimal software and hardware requirements. Since is Web-based, there is NO special software or hardware that CSR’s, underwriters, management, or agents require. All that is needed by these users is a connection to the Internet, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher, and Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or higher.
Bond administrators, those responsible for setting up all of the bond configurations, do require a scanner for capturing some forms and Adobe Acrobat Professional Version 5.0 for adding data fields to the various forms.
Software:
Web Server(s): Windows 2008 Server R2 (32 bit ONLY ) running IIS and .NET 2.0/3.5 Framework.
SQL Server(s): Windows 2008 Server R2 (32 bit ONLY ) and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2.
CSR: Microsoft IE 5.01 through IE 8.0 is supported, Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 or higher.
Administration: Microsoft IE 5.01 or higher, Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Standard (or higher)
Scanner – flat bed with operating software that is compatible with Adobe Acrobat 9.0.
Hardware:
Minimum requirements: Dual core INTEL Xeon (or equivalent) or higher (must support multi-threading), 4 GB or higher RAM, 80 GB minimum of Hard disk space, 1MB cache or higher. (WEB Server, SQL Server, Application Server)
Scanner – flat bed (see scanner sw requirements above). We strongly recommend an HP scanner with a bed large enough to scan legal documents.
Note: It is recommended that a T-1 or better data line is used.
